By: Doffin Investments Scheduled for Saturday, June 22 at Doffin Investments’ “We want to encourage young artists to think about their futures,” explains Doffin Investments’ The event’s focus, adds Takabayashi, is on celebrating creativity and providing fun for the whole family. An original coloring book, based on work by Westwood College artists, will be given to children in attendance. Doffin has hosted a number of open house art exhibitions over the past two years. They have proven extremely popular, drawing large crowds and resulting in a number of sales of featured art works. The firm plans to build on the student art exhibition by extending its outreach to local schools. It aims to develop a regular program to teach budding artists, and others, how to be smart business people and financial managers. “Art schools don’t always provide their students with the business knowledge they will need in the working world,” Takabayashi says. “Students may have a lot of creative talent, but they also need to be skillful in business in order to translate their artistic skills into successful careers.” The open house will be held on Saturday, June 22nd from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Doffin Investments’ Photo: https://www.prlog.org/ End
