Man Dance Company Presents Its 5th Anniversary All-Star Gala

SAN FRANCISCO - July 3, 2013 - PRLog -- The Man Dance Company (MDC) will take the stage at the Marines' Memorial Theatre in San Francisco for its 5th Anniversary All-Star Gala on Friday, July 12, 2013 starting at 8:00 p.m.

Attendees of the show will see inspiring male-themed dance performances, focusing on historically triumphant and GLBT- related stories. Beyond Brokeback, one of the dances of the show, was inspired by the award-winning romantic movie Brokeback Mountain. There will also be a sneak peek of MDC's future show NutcrackOr- a Christmas holiday special with a story set during 1970's in San Francisco's Castro district..

The show will include the MDC's eight male professional dancers, a female guest-star, and their youth scholarship winners. Fifty percent of all proceeds will be donated to the Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation.
