An Interview with Lamon Archey- Star of "The Young and the Restless"

July 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Lamon Archey has conquered it all: Runway shows, modeling, web series, soap operas-even fatherhood. The dapper soap star can be seen playing Mason Wilder, a money-oriented businessman willing to stop at nothing until he reaches success on CBS' Young and the Restless. Not only does Archey keep the ladies screaming with just about any project he takes on, but he has also made quite a name for himself in the business as a respected thespian. However, long before the days of starring in soap operas to adoring fans, Lamon Archey was a kid with a dream willing to try anything to get ahead.

Shortly after moving to LA, Archey was quickly hired as a runway model after being scouted at a job fair. Allured by the beautiful woman and the steady pay, Archey took quite a liking to modeling designer clothes for a living. However, it was his manager at the time, who convinced Archey to take his career further into acting and the results have been in his favor. Without modeling, Archey admits that his path may not have turned into acting.

Now the star of a hit soap opera, Lamon Archey is enjoying the ride and is eager for his future not only in Hollywood, but also Mason's on the Young and the Restless: "I'd like to see Mason step back in the circle with Adam and Victor. I feel like he was left out to dry. I'd like to see him get some kind of revenge on Victor for not having his back when things went bad. I've always liked the story of David and Goliath; the "small" guy who goes to war with the "beast." I'd also like to see Mason with a love interest. I think the fans would get a kick out of that."

Regardless of runways, soap operas and everywhere in between, one thing is certain: Lamon Archey is destined for continued success.
