New strategic alliance and global distribution agreement with Sigma-Aldrich

PRENTON, U.K. - July 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Paragon Scientific Limited, announced today that it has signed a new strategic alliance and global distribution agreement with Sigma-Aldrich. We believe this is very exciting news for our partners, for our business and signals the start of a new era of growth and opportunities.

Sigma-Aldrich has carried out extensive research on Paragon and its competitors to identify a partner which can offer highest quality reference materials, this core competence, coupled with a strong cultural and strategic fit between both organisations made Paragon its first choice partner for this new venture.

A new landing page, www.sigma-aldrich.com/paragon, has been established on the Sigma-Aldrich website to provide customers with direct access to the full range Paragon products and technical information.

Sigma-Aldrich’s Applied Business Unit will be the primary global distribution channel for Paragon Scientific products with Paragon continuing to manage and support its OEM partners and key accounts.

As part of the strategic alliance, Paragon Scientific and Sigma-Aldrich will be working in close partnership, sharing resources and technical expertise to jointly develop new products and services to meet the growing demand for high quality certified reference materials.

Paragon recently doubled its research and development capabilities with a move into a newly refurbished facility featuring a suite of purpose designed production laboratories. Production and distribution capacity has also increased three fold.
