CHICAGO - Aug. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Nordhaus-Bike was honored for the September-October 2012 edition of her electronic newsletter Living in Harmony, which covered the Libra time of year.

Communications Concepts is a journalism and communications think tank based outside Washington, DC, in Springfield, VA. This year’s Apex competition was the 25th annual.

“Apex Awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content, and the ability to achieve overall communications excellence,” said John De Lellis, one of the Apex judges. “With some 2,400 entries, competition was exceptionally intense.”

Nordhaus-Bike combines her original art with astrology insights, photography, and journalism skills in publishing her Living in Harmony newsletter. This online publication presents articles on astrology and a variety of other themes; the newsletter archives feature special issues devoted to every sign of the zodiac. Besides reviewing each sign from a spiritual and mystical perspective, archived issues present Nordhaus-Bike’s paintings and photography chosen specifically to harmonize with the astrological sign or season as well as an inspiring guided meditation.

“Being a Libra myself, it’s particularly gratifying that our Libra 2012 edition of Living in Harmony received a prestigious Award of Excellence in this international competition,” Nordhaus-Bike said.

Nordhaus-Bike is president of ANB Communications, which offers a variety of products to help one live in harmony physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. For more information about ANB Communications, log on to http://www.anbcommunications.com.
