Opportunity to Support Woodland Elementary in Sandy Springs

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - Aug. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Woodland Elementary School PTA invites you to participate in the 2013 Sandy Springs Sprint 5K Family Fun Run/Walk on September 28, 2013 at 7am. The Sandy Springs Sprint will attract current and former Woodland Elementary School students and their families, professionals from area businesses, community leaders, seasoned runners, and students and families from nearby schools that feed into North Springs High School. A Family Fun Run (laps around the North Springs High School track) will be offered for younger participants. A Tot Trot (50 Yard Dash) for children under 4 will ensure fun opportunities for all ages!

It is the mission of Woodland Elementary School to provide a high quality education for each student and an optimum learning environment that will aid in the development of the total child through a cooperative effort among home, school, and the community. Woodland Elementary School educates students ranging from Pre‐kindergarten through 5th grade. Additionally, we support children in Special Needs Preschool, Special Needs Kindergarten, Moderate to Profound Intellectual Disabilities, Behavior Disorders, Learning Disabilities, and Talented and Gifted Students. Woodland is ethnically, culturally and economically diverse in both the student body and the faculty/staff, which reflects our local community.

Sponsorship for the event ranges from the Bronze ($150) to the Benefactor($2,500) level. In‐Kind Donations are encouraged and welcomed. The following items are needed: Water bottles, Food/Fluids for race and course finish line, printing, and event race bags. Please contact
