Typeform raises €550,000 from Point Nine Capital & RTAventures to reinvent Web and mobile surveys

BARCELONA, Spain - Sept. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Typeform has secured a €550,000 seed round led by Berlin-based venture capital fund Point Nine Capital and RTAventures from Warsaw. The service, which has been in public Beta since April 2013, is reinventing the way users create and respond to surveys and other types of forms by making the process more user-friendly and engaging for both survey creators and end users.

By 2014, mobile internet usage is set to surpass desktop usage, but data collection on touchscreens is still a wholly frustrating experience. Typeform is the first device-agnostic solution that provides creators with peace of mind that their forms will have the same great look and feel on any smartphone, tablet or web browser.

It’s no surprise that typeforms are shown to increase user engagement and encourage higher completion rates. Of the over 700,000 unique visitors that the service has attracted so far to its typeforms, the overall completion rate is currently at 61%, exceeding industry averages by at least three times*.

Furthermore, Typeform has recently made their ‘Data API’ available, granting developers dynamic access to the data they've collected on the platform. The company is also putting significant resources into opening the platform up further to developers, with plans to introduce their ‘Build API’ in the near future, allowing developers to generate typeforms via code without the need to go through their authoring tool.
