First Church of Palm Coast Hosts Free Parenting Seminar

Palm Coast, FL – First Church of Palm Coast is pleased to be hosting a free parenting seminar on September 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The seminar with include parenting tips from several speakers, including Dr. Pamela Jackson Smith, Homeless Education Coordinator/Parent Specialist for Flagler County schools. Dr Jackson Smith will address education and the role that adults play in helping students focus on studies and academic achievement. Other topics will include how to more effectively connect with our youth. The seminar will provide opportunity for questions and discussion on communicating, motivating, and educating our children.

A light lunch will follow the presentation and participants are required to register for the event by calling the church at 386-446-5759 due to limited seating.

First Church is located at 91 Old Kings Road North in Palm Coast. Their mission is to minister to the spiritual, intellectual, physical and emotional needs of all who choose to become a part of their fellowship. Traditional Sunday services are held 8:00 a.m. - 9:00a.m., Praise and Worship is held at 10:00 a.m., then Contemporary Worship starts at 10:15 a.m. Sunday School is held from 9:15a.m. - 10:00 a.m. on Sundays, Men's Bible Study is at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday’s, and Disciple Bible Study is at Noon on Friday’s with Pastor Glover. There is also a Women's Bible Study at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday’s with Evangelist Faye Dazie.
