Sept. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- The team Motor Werks Infiniti of Barrington (http://www.motorwerksinfiniti.com/dealership/about.htm) was recently stunned along with the rest of the automotive world, as Infiniti recently unveiled the Q30 premium compact concept at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show. Infiniti teased a few images of the concept ahead of its triumphant debut, and its innovative design stunned the crowd, especially given the likelihood that the Q30 will make it to production.

Of the new Q30 concept, Infiniti says that it’s “not a coupe, not a hatch, and not a crossover, but a fusion of three body styles.” It’s a provocative vehicle, with a striking design that includes an angular roofline reminiscent of a crossover, along with sculpted sides, a long hood, and angular headlights. It stands out among luxury vehicles, which was the goal, as it’s being targeted toward younger buyers who are looking for something different — and as Hugues Fabre, Infiniti marketing director, said, “Younger customers are coming into the premium segment with their own attitude toward premium-ness.”

In a statement, the automaker lauded the new concept as “the next step in an aggressive strategy to extend the Infiniti brand into new premium segments.” It should come as no surprise, then, that it’s expected to compete directly with the Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class.

The Q30 will slot below the Q50 sedan (http://www.motorwerksinfiniti.com/2014-infiniti-q50.htm) in the Infiniti lineup. The new Q30 sports a bold design that signals Infiniti’s determination not only to innovate, but to expand its influence among luxury automakers while reaching as many drivers as possible. With striking designs like the Q30, along with impressive features and performance across all of the automaker’s offerings, it’s clear that Infiniti is intent on making its star loom larger than ever before.

Chicago area drivers who want to learn more about the Q30 concept, or who would like to check out the current Infiniti lineup (http://www.motorwerksinfiniti.com/new-inventory/index.htm), can do so at Motor Werks Infiniti of Barrington. The dealership is located at 1475 S. Barrington Rd. in Barrington, IL, and proudly serves Chicagoland drivers with stellar sales and service.
