Follow on Google News | Infiniti has Recently Unveiled the Q30 Premium Compact ConceptOn September 10, Infiniti unveiled the innovative new vehicle at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show.
Of the new Q30 concept, Infiniti says that it’s “not a coupe, not a hatch, and not a crossover, but a fusion of three body styles.” It’s a provocative vehicle, with a striking design that includes an angular roofline reminiscent of a crossover, along with sculpted sides, a long hood, and angular headlights. It stands out among luxury vehicles, which was the goal, as it’s being targeted toward younger buyers who are looking for something different — and as Hugues Fabre, Infiniti marketing director, said, “Younger customers are coming into the premium segment with their own attitude toward premium-ness.” In a statement, the automaker lauded the new concept as “the next step in an aggressive strategy to extend the Infiniti brand into new premium segments.” It should come as no surprise, then, that it’s expected to compete directly with the Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class. The Q30 will slot below the Q50 sedan (http://www.motorwerksinfiniti.com/ Chicago area drivers who want to learn more about the Q30 concept, or who would like to check out the current Infiniti lineup (http://www.motorwerksinfiniti.com/ End
