Indie Emcee MORGAN's “Dream On, Dreamer” Tour Kicks Off with Benefit Concert in D.C.!

WASHINGTON - Sept. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Presented by DC based arts collective Creative Introverts, the “Dream On, Dreamer” Tour, beginning November 2013, kicks off with a benefit concert on Tuesday, September 24th from 6-9pm at Pure Lounge in Washington, D.C. (1326 U Street, NW). The tour has successfully raised over $1,000 dollars in donations, and is looking to gather final donations at this event, the last week of its fundraising campaign. There is a $10 minimum donation fee for entry. All additional donation amounts appreciated. The team has utilized the crowd funding website Indiegogo to raise the funds, and have provided perks to donors, including official “Dream On, Dreamer” gear, digital music copies, and to sponsors, having a portion of their donation benefit a local arts & music program. Additional performances by 202LYC, June da Kid, Gahbai, and other acts to be announced.

Meet Washington, DC native MORGAN, indie emcee, and founder of Creative Introverts. Described as "the official representation of authentic Hip Hop for a new era," Washington DC native MORGAN is electric, mesmerizing, and maintains the belief that music must always contain a message. This multi-talent (she plays the saxophone and drums, writes her own music, has dabbled in music production, and is a degreed videographer), aspires to inspire the masses through smart lyricism, while not forsaking the relevancy of catchy, hard knocking beats. Her most recent effort - the conceptually sound visual for her single, "Another Day," has already garnered over 40,000 views on YouTube, has been featured on MTV.com, on over 25 national and international blogs, and has gained her an entire new set of fans and supporters from all over the world.
