By: Bernal Films Rupturian -Extinction on Earth is a Sci-Fi movie that follows the pattern of highly successful films in terms of story, exotic ambiances and worldwide general audiences. It has such a unique, interesting story that has been compared to E.T., the classical Steven Spielberg’s movie about Extra Terrestrials. The story is based on a real potential threat to Earth: the explosion (supernova) of the binary stars WR104 of the Sagittarius constellation, which according to NASA and ESA, could occur any time, creating a Gamma Ray Burst (GRB) directed to Earth, and causing mass extinction. Such an event is not new to Earth. Four hundred million years ago, the Ordovician Extinction, which is the second largest catastrophic event in the history of our planet, almost finished with all the living beings of the time, and it was also caused by the effects on Earth of a supernova. Budget For the first movie of the trilogy I prepared two budgets, one of $2M for a version of 90 minutes, and another one of $5M for a version of 120 minutes. For a budget in between, I would adapt the script accordingly. And then I looked for investors. I went to several places in Internet, but all that I found were scammers trying to get money from me, one way or another; from all over the world: From UK, several countries in Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa), from the Far East (Cambodia, Bangkok, Philippines) My position to all of them was presented very clearly: I have for your evaluation a movie project that has taken me years to develop. I have ready for your evaluation several versions of the script, several budgets, business plan and marketing analysis, the procedures from the State of New York to recoup part of the expenses as tax credits, two short films with the same actors and technical crew that are going to work on Rupturian, one video that presents the Rupturian concept that I will utilize as the basis to prepare a trailer, two books on the subject of the Rupturians, several websites and thousands of references in Google about the Rupturians. Please evaluate all these materials, and if you find that this is a good project for you, then provide a loan, invest for a percentage of the profits, or provide a loan with the option to buy equity. My only condition is that you pay for all the expenses to finalize our agreement. In a few words: I put the project, and you put the money. I am providing you an excellent opportunity, and you don’t take it unless I pay for something, then you are not real; very simple. A new alternative But then, I saw several good results that could be obtained via crowd funding campaigns.
