Is there a “COSMETIC MAFIA” in Los Angeles? $10.000 media award is available for examinationThe HOMULUS FOUNDATION offers an award of $10.000 to any journalist, reporter, attorney, medical doctor or private person who is most successful in penetrating and publicly examining the very disturbing question: Is there a “COSMETIC MAFIA” in Los Angeles?
- The relationship between the cosmetic surgeons and their clients is extremely biased in favor of the physician. - Consumer protection against bad surgeons is practically non-existing. - There are signs of bias in the legal system, as well as in the supervisory activity of the Medical Board of California, against unsatisfied clients/patients; The HOMULUS study indicates that cosmetic surgery could be much more widely used to benefit people to improve their self-image and personal well-being than today if the legal position of consumers were stronger and the usual consumer protection were in place. The HOMULUS Foundation established direct contact with the leaders of major cosmetic surgery related medical societies in CA (such as AAAASF, LASCS, CSPS, ASERF) and asked the trusties for examining the situation and “peer review” the most disturbing cases of patient manipulation and abuse and protect the medical profession, as well as the public, against corruption. The Medical Board of California, the office of the Governor of CA as well as the office of Attorney General are also informed. Please feel free to contact us for more details and facts. We want to help you to win our media award. Media contact: HOMULUS FOUNDATION Jan C Biro MD.
