The Lewis twins (age 70) realized their lifelong dream of owning matching Mustang-style motorcycles with the delivery of their American-made CSC motorcycles.
By: CSC Motorcycles Jerry Lewis, from Elk Grove, California, learned about the California Scooter Company and their modern versions of the Mustang motorcycle last year. He quickly contacted his identical twin Larry (from Walla Walla, Washington). “We started riding motorcycles when we were 12,” said Jerry, “and we always wanted matching Mustangs. One of our childhood friends owned a Mustang when we were kids and we always wanted our own.” After coordinating their specifications with CSC Motorcycles, the Azusa, California motorcycle manufacturer built two matching bikes in Racing Red with the firm’s new 250cc P-51 engine (the P-51 designation honors the World War II P-51 Mustang). Matching options on both bikes included red-tinted windshields, spotlights, chrome racks, and other accessories from CSC Motorcycles’ “We’re pleased and honored to be a part of his,” said Steve Seidner, President and Chief Executive Officer of CSC Motorcycles. “We have a lot of fun making and riding our motorcycles and helping our riders realize their dreams. This was an especially fun project, and we’re glad we were able to be a part of it.” CSC Motorcycles, located in Azusa, California, designs and manufactures motorcycles based on the original Mustang motorcycles built in Glendale, California from 1947 to 1962.
