A Nightmare on Huguenot Street

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - Oct. 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Hudson Valley Filmmakers Meetup Group (HVFMG) is hosting it's first horror short film screening.  It will be held on October 30, 2013 from 9pm-12am with a $5 admission at local sponsor, The Cafeteria coffee house on 58 Main Street in New Paltz, New York.  Filmmakers will be attending to represent their film and movie refreshments will be sold that night.

Nightmare on Huguenot Street plans to bring a special guest TBA for the night's festivities along with a Super 8 Film workshop and trivia game with prizes.

The audience should expect to be included in a horror short during the How to Shoot Monsters on Super 8 Film workshop.  HVFMG will demonstrate the basic in's and out's of filmmaking with super 8 film in a brief demonstration that night.

Filmmakers in the Hudson Valley who are interested in having their short film screened must contact Tim Mattson via email tim@sweetvictory.tv with the headline "NOHS Short Film Entry".  The horror short time limit is 10-minutes or less and the entry fee of $5 must be received by October 25th, 2013 at 4pm to be considered for the screening.  Hudson Valley Filmmakers Meetup Group reserves the right to approve or deny a film entry based on decisions they seem necessary.
