Mexico releases mandate for pre-merger approval and updates rules for digital tax receipts

SUNNYVALE, Calif. - Nov. 12, 2013 - PRLog -- The Mexican government has passed new regulatory measures requiring approval before mergers, revising policy regarding tax receipts and defining “international firm”, among other changes, reports Nair & Co.’s Accounting and Expansion Teams.

The new rules also allow manufacturing operations in free trade zones (maquiladoras) to file digital tax receipts 3 days after the first day of the month following the transaction month.

In addition from 2014, there will be changes to revenue requirements of current safe receipts and digital tax receipts will be replaced with a new modified version.
