ABN AMRO Commercial Finance bolsters its national team

Invoice and asset based lender, ABN AMRO Commercial Finance, has strengthened its national team with the appointments of Harps Dhami, David Ward and Charlie Hodgson.

Harps joins ABN AMRO as Regional Director for Structured Finance. He will be responsible for growing revenues in asset based lending for larger corporate businesses (£5m+ financing requirement or funding lines) across the East and West Midlands.

Harps has almost fifteen years’ experience in asset based financing having worked for BNP Paribas Commercial Finance, Lombard and Barclays Asset Finance. He specialises in working capital finance with a strategic focus on complex international businesses.

Senior Portfolio Managers Charlie Hodgson and David Ward also strengthen the Haywards Heath Corporate Clients team.

David brings a wealth of experience gained in senior corporate structured finance roles at GE Capital Bank, GMAC Commercial Finance and NMB-Heller.

Charlie makes the move from PricewaterhouseCoopers’ advisory business where he was a Senior Manager. His previous roles include positions in business development, credit risk and relationship management with a focus on larger corporates.

David and Charlie will both report to Steve Websdale, Managing Director Corporate Clients, while Harps reports to Jeremy Smith, Sales Director for the Structured Finance division.
