DISH Hopper with Sling Chosen SatelliteGuys Best of 2013

NEWINGTON, Conn. - Dec. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- SatelliteGuys today announced that their members selected the DISH Hopper with Sling as the SatelliteGuys Best of 2013 Award winner.  This year’s voting pitted the satellite industries best DVR’s with the DISH Hopper with Sling taking on the DIRECTV GENIE.

“Somehow DISH found a way to take the Hopper and make it better with the introduction of the Hopper with Sling, and as the voting shows our members love it!” said Scott Greczkowski, founder of SatelliteGuys.US.  “Dish managed to take what was the best DVR on the market and make it better.  I am not sure if it’s possible to make the industries best DVR even better!” said Greczkowski.

In the voting done by the members of SatelliteGuys.US the DISH Hopper with Sling won with over 75% of the votes over the DIRECTV GENIE.  All registered members of SatelliteGuys were eligible to vote. Greczkowski said he was surprised with the wide victory margin the Hopper with Sling achieved.  Greczkowski also noted that “The DIRECTV GENIE is an excellent DVR platform and I expected the voting to be much closer, however our members have spoken.”

SatelliteGuys will present DISH with the prestigious SatelliteGuys Best of 2013 Award to DISH at the 2014 International CES in Las Vegas, Nevada.
