CAKE THAT Bakery brings the Jersey Shore to the Big Game

SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - Jan. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Local business owner Jess Bartlett of Cake That was presented with a sponsorship check of $2000 from the funding committee of the Southern Ocean Chamber of Commerce at their January 14 meeting in Manahawkin to help with participation of The Beach Bowl which is held at Chelsea Pier the day before the actual Super Bowl.

In business since 2010, Cake That will be building a 6'x4' specially designed cupcake display in the shape of a football stadium where the cupcakes will be a fans in the bleachers. Cake THAT will be displayed at a celebrity lounge where Bartlett and her staff will be providing complimentary cupcakes as well as postcards promoting tourism events in the Long Beach Island Region for three days to press, past football players, and notable celebrities from across the globe.

Cake That, a member of the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce is located at the Manahawkin Mart 657 E Bay Ave Manahawkin, is no stranger to the spotlight with a Food Network appearance on Season 7 Cupcake Wars where they took second place. Creating custom themed occasion cakes, the shop is open 8am-6pm Sunday-Thursday and 8am-9pm Friday to Saturday providing gourmet cupcakes with flavors from Elvis (banana, peanut butter and bacon), triple chocolate, salted caramel and chocolate macaroon. Plans after the big game will be to display at the Southern Ocean Expo with the NJ Hall of Fame on Feb 22, and to promote celebrity themed super cupcake flavors throughout 2014.
