HERCULES, Calif. - Jan. 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Gatemaster Systems, Inc. is celebrating 20 years in business!  The software company has been serving the entertainment industry since 1994.  Gatemaster offers point-of-sale software that manages sales, concessions, gift shop, memberships, ticketing, group events, cashless systems and integrated web sales.

Gatemaster began in 1994 when Dr. Stephen Richardson created the software to help run his family entertainment centers.  “There was really nothing like it out there at the time so we decided to create our own,” said Richardson.  Over the years the software has grown and evolved to fit the changing needs of the entertainment business.  It has been tested in multiple environments and is flexible enough to meet the needs of companies of all sizes.  Gatemaster has now become a leading point-of-sale software provider for the amusement and resort industry.

Gatemaster Systems has over 800 clients in 16 different countries.  Clients include:  waterparks, family entertainment centers, museums, planetariums, zoos, outdoor adventure parks, tour companies and large destination resorts.  The software can be translated into multiple languages.
