This MS Life, launches skydive fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month in March

AUSTIN, Texas - Feb. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- This MS Life (http://www.thismslife.org), which provides one-on-one support for those newly diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and their caregivers, is hosting MS Flight For The Fight, a skydiving fundraiser.

The event will be held in Port Aransas with Skydive South Texas on May 10^th, 2014.  Promotion and registration will take place during MS Awareness Month in March.

This MS Life provides free 1-on-1 Mentor Support Connections for those living firsthand with the condition and was designed to give patients and caregivers a resource for news, information and connections to others affected by the debilitating condition.

According to the National MS Society, more than 2.1 million people are affected worldwide.  This MS Life was created as a clearinghouse to match support seekers and mentors based off of a 40+-question survey.  Matches are handpicked and made on criteria including gender, age, stage of MS, geographic location, language, religion and sexual orientation.

This MS Life (http://www.thismslife.org), is a web-based, independent support site for patients diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and their caregivers.  Founded in 2013 by McCall Teicher, a MS patient herself, the site provides free, one-on-one support and access to news, information and connections to others affected by MS.
