PIX/SEE Productions DEADLY REVISIONS begins hitting the Film Festival circuit this year!

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Feb. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- PIX/SEE Productions announces the feature DEADLY REVISIONS has begun entering the film festival circuit.  The film festival circuit is a year-round, international phenomenon where filmmakers, producers, investors, distributors and audiences get the chance to comingle and screen and discover new films.  DEADLY REVISIONS has already begun the submission process and is under consideration for several key festivals around the globe, including the U.K.’s Raindance, Canada’s Toronto International Film Festival, and the U.S.’s Los Angeles Film Festival.

In DEADLY REVISIONS, Bill Oberst Jr. (Best Actor, Shockfest 2012) plays an amnesiac horror film writer for whom hypnotherapy and nightmares reveal memories that might or might not be real…and that might or might not be deadly.  The film’s twisted blend of mystery, psychological thriller and horror is tasty fodder for fans of numerous genres.   Its unreliable narrator allows for the audience to choose which story they see and the story itself allows for loving winks to genre filmmaking and those who pursue it.

DEADLY REVISIONS has already been endowed with honors:  the original screenplay was a finalist in the Horror Screenplay Contest, a special teaser trailer won a screening at the inaugural New Media Film Festival and director Gregory Blair won the 2103 EOTM Award for ‘Best Director of an Indie Horror Film’ for his work in production on the film.

Will the trend for accolades continue?  The team behind DEADLY REVISIONS is hopeful.  With several distributors already expressing interest, the film seems destined to be a success, regardless.  But Blair believes that being screened at the major festivals will only increase demand and that increased demand will translate to more dollars for marketing…which usually translates to more dollars in profit.  And a win in any such festival not only adds to that fire, but adds to the prestige element as well.
