MIAMI - March 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Former Miami Hurricane , All-American sprinter, two-time Olympic medalist and three-time world champion, Lauryn Williams joins on-air radio personality and talk-show host DJ Bam on Excitement Radio for a live interview to discuss what led her to her road to success and what she has planned for the future.

Williams is the first former UM athlete to compete in a Winter Olympics, and second Cane to participate in four Olympics.  She is also the first American woman to have won a medal in both the Summer and Winter Olympic games.

In addition to her great accomplishments as an athlete, Ms. Williams has volunteered at Arcola Lakes Elementary in Miami helping deaf students learn English and math while they taught her sign language after winning her first Olympic Medal and has donated $10,000 to South Florida families whose homes were damaged by hurricanes.  Ms. Williams has also set up several scholarship funds to assist emerging female athletes, and was involved in the USA Track & Field’s Be a Champion youth outreach program.
