Local Artist introduces Art Classes, Paintings, Portraits to Cedar Rapids, IA and Marion Iowa areas

MARION, Iowa - March 14, 2014 - PRLog -- Barbara Jones Prall, owner of Barb's Fine Art is an award-winning artist proudly celebrating her 42nd year as an accomplished teacher and professional artist. Barb's Fine Art specializes in conducting classes and workshops. An art workshop is a wonderful way for people of all ages to grow and experience a fuller life. Nature and Portrait workshops focus on positive development of artistic skills.

Barb teaches oil, pastel, acrylics and watercolors. Her focus is on teaching right perspective, selecting a proper medium, while exploring the artist in you while learning new art techniques in a very positive atmosphere. She calles her workshops the "No Negative Zone"...and attends Portrait conferences annually.

Students ages range from 5 years to 95 years old. There is truly something for everyone! Barb also offers "Orginal" Portraits and Landscapes as a gift or for your home and office. Custom work is also available and so are art supplies!

Whether you are a novice or an experienced artist, you'll enjoy increasing your artistic skills in the company of other artists. Students may choose to work on drawings and/or paintings.
