Lawrence Blake Group International Announces Appointment of Chief Executive Officer

NEW YORK - March 20, 2014 - PRLog -- New York-based corporate communications firm Lawrence Blake Group International (www.LawrenceBlake.com) today announced that its board of directors has appointed Camille-Marie Gourdet as Chief Executive Officer of the organization’s public relations practice with a growing presence in 7 countries across the world, effective immediately. Ms. Gourdet has served as interim-CEO of Lawrence Blake Group International since August of 2013, in addition to dedicating two-years as Chair of the firm’s board of directors.

As chief executive officer, Ms. Gourdet will work with Lawrence Blake Group Int’l.’s executive team to facilitate an orderly leadership transition while overseeing the company's ongoing transformation.

Born and raised in New York City, Camille-Marie Gourdet began her career studying Fashion Design in 2006 at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Since then, she has worked with fashion designers from around the world, consulting them on how to reach their audience as creatively as possible, and accumulating close to a decade worth of real-world experience. Ms. Gourdet has played a pivotal role in launching and developing our philanthropic and pro-bono services division, Lawrence Blake Ventures, having produced countless events to publicize our initiatives, while supporting the passions of so many young entrepreneurs.
