Irish Telecom secures a long term contract with European Foundation providing High Speed Internet

April 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Irish Telecom; Ireland’s leading provider of high speed internet connectivity and bandwidth are delighted to have secured a long term contact with European Foundation to provide their Dublin head office with a resilient symmetrical uncontended internet connection.

This connection is delivered over a wireless radio link designed and commissioned according to ComReg national licensing regulations. Following a competitive tendering process Irish Telecom was selected as the overall contract winner and delivered the connection into Eurofound HQ within the agreed target day. In addition Irish Telecom had worked closely with Eurofound IT staff to integrate the new service into the existing infrastructure without impact to their live services. This requirement was extremely important to Eurofound and Irish Telecom have exceeded in implementing a trouble free transition at the time of commissioning. The connection has proved to be extremely reliable since it was commissioned, providing Eurofound IT department peace of mind in dealing with their day to day challenges.

Said El Aroussi, Network Administrator with European Foundation explains the decision to award this prestigious contract to Irish Telecom. “To ensure we have the most resilient connectivity we recently went to public tender for a high capacity connection for our offices in Loughlinstown, Dublin. We awarded this tender to Irish Telecom who have delivered on all their commitments to us to date and we would be more than happy to recommend them for the provision of high quality internet connectivity”.
