Singer / Songwriter Stephen Bishop on PROFILES

NEW YORK - April 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Singer / Songwriter Stephen Bishop will appear as a guest on PROFILES with Mickey Burns on Friday, April 18th, at 10:30 PM and Monday, April 21st at 11:00 PM on (WNYE) channel 25.

Bishop's career spans almost four decades. His biggest commercial hit was his late 70's chart topper “On and On” which reached No. 11 on the Billboard charts.

As a Songwriter Bishop has penned hundreds of songs…some for the likes of Diana Ross, Barbra Streisand, Bette Midler, The Four Tops, and even Pavarotti.

Stephen Bishop was nominated for “Best New Artist” at the 1978 Grammy Awards. Since then he has written hits for many of our biggest stars.

Bishop has also written and sung in numerous movies that have been nominated for both Grammys and Oscars. Including films such as “Tootsie”,  “White Knights” and “Animal House.”

Besides writing and singing in numerous movies…Bishop also earned cameo appearances in such films as “The Blues Brothers,” "Animal House" and “Kentucky Fried Movie.”

Bishop's body of work has remained prolific. His latest album titled: “Stephen Bishop – Be Here Then”…is a beautiful showcase of his performing and songwriting prowess.
