FORGIVE ME FATHER, FOR I HAVE SINNED script is ready. True story from author Julia Villegas Phelps

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - April 15, 2014 - PRLog -- We are pleased to announce the immediate release of the script FORGIVE ME FATHER, FOR I HAVE SINNED,  written by award winning actress, producer, and screenwriter Kathy Krantz Stewart. The script is based on the book by Julia Villegas Phelps.

Julia was born on April 17, 1967 in San Antonio, Texas under the name Julia Villegas.  Raised by a single mother in the Villa Veramendi Homes (also known as the "project" or the "courts") in the west side of San Antonio, youngest of 5 girls.  She attended Lanier High School from 1981-84, was a Varsity Cheerleader.  She graduated from Southwest School of Medical/Dental Students 1988 as a pharmacy technician. She wrote first book, Forgive Me Father, For I Have Sinned, in 2011.  Julia is married to Rob Phelps since May 19, 1993.

This script is based on Julia’s experience with sexual abuse. Born in the projects while her father was in prison, abused by a close relative and foster father at young ages, she knew her life was going to be a challenge. She kept her silence with her secrets for fear that no one would believe her.  She was also raped by a promident priest, well known in the community. A total of 13 woman came forward and he fathered 2 children with two of the victims. The church knew about it, and paid them under the table to keep quiet.

Raised by a single mother who was often ill and hospitalized, she knew that she could not trust many people, and that she had to be strong to survive. Her story is one of her spiritual survival, and the healing process, still ongoing. She wrote the book for therapy to help complete her healing process.

Julia is working on second book, to be about living with bipolar disorder, and third book, to be a collection of her poetry. Mother of 5 children: Cesar, Jr. (1983), Michael (1986), Justin (1992), Robby (1994), and Juliana (2000) Julia is also a member of San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
