Our Different Classes For Medical Billing Training

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - May 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Medical Billing Solutions, Inc. is proud to offer two different classes for Medical Billing, suitable for both beginners and professionals with years of experience.  These 2 classes teach different topics, with a 3-day boot camp dedicated to CPC^® (Certified Professional Coder^®) Certifications, and the other 2 day boot camp class dedicated to the 2015 implementation of ICD-10 Certification.  All classes are taught by Kimberly A Stevens, CPC^®, CCS-P, CPMA, CMSCS, and President of Medical Billing Solutions, Inc.  The classes are designed to prepare students for their future in the field, and for the certification exams that they must pass.

The CPC^® Class will help prepare the experienced coder for the Certified Professional Coder^® Exam that is given through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).  All students will gain experience via live coding scenarios, individual and group exercises and exam taking techniques.  The 2014 classes will cover ICD-9 CM, not ICD-10, as ICD-10 will not be required until October of 2015 at the earliest.

The ICD-10 classes are available to assist students with the upcoming changeover from ICD-9 to ICD-10 beginning next year.  This class will prepare the students for the transition to IDC-10 and to pass the AAPC ICD-10-CM Proficiency Assessment Exam that is required by many of the AAPC Credentials.  This 2-day course is held monthly, and gives experience via live coding scenarios, individual and group exercises and exam taking techniques.   These will allow the students to take this knowledge to their physician practices, helping to spread the knowledge of the new ICD-10 coding system.
