The first thing is if you don’t’ take care of yourself you can cause yourself to be susceptible to mental and physical diseases.  The first one is if you don’t take care of your vitamins and don’t’ give yourself enough, you can start to have issues metabolizing and that can cause weight gain.  You can start to feel a bit self-conscious about yourself, and that can lead to the exhibition of supposed “mental disorders” such as depression or bipolar disorder.  What this can create is a person who actually just has a bit of a physical body issue that they can easily fix with the right diet and exercise, but instead they’re relying on dangerous medications that aren’t’ targeting the right areas.  You can prevent yourself from going through the pain that you don’t need to go through, and the best thing to help out with that so you stay on the right track is to make sure you have a healthy body and a healthy mind.

The second thing is because it’s easier to live life this way.  If you take care of yourself you’re going to feel happier because you’re not giving into the problems of the body and instead you are doing something about it.  You’re taking care of yourself, and that will make you feel better and others will see that you are doing well and not sad or depressed.  A lot of people when they get older start to suffer from mental afflictions due to bodily issues and such, but you can prevent that in yourself by keeping the body in shape and making sure to keep your friends and contacts close to you as you get older.  You can still live life regardless of age and body structure, and you can have a healthy body and a healthy mind in order to survive even better.
