MALIBU, Calif. - Sept. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Patients with Atrial Fibrillation are hungry for well-researched, unbiased information on current and emerging Atrial Fibrillation treatments and medical research written in plain language.

That's the mission of Steve S. Ryan, PhD, publisher of Atrial Fibrillation: Resources for Patients, A-Fib.com, a non-profit patient education website.

He has posted two new summary reports from the 2014 Boston Atrial Fibrillation Symposium:

♦  Catheter Ablation as Recommended First Choice by Dr. Hugh Calkins of Johns Hopkins
♦  The New Era of Catheter Ablation Technology: Force Sensing Catheters by Dr. Moussa Mansour, Massachusetts General Hospital

Dr. Ryan's reports are well received by the medical community as well. According to Dr. Jeremy Ruskin of Mass. General Hospital and a Director of the Boston AF Symposium:

"Steve Ryan's summaries of the Boston A-Fib Symposium are terrific. Steve has the ability to synthesize and communicate accurately in clear and simple terms the essence of complex subjects. This is an exceptional skill and a great service to patients with atrial fibrillation."
