UNIFOSA SAS JBOD Passed Windows Server 2012 R2 and LSI RAID Card Certification

The certified 6Gb/s 2U 24Bays SAS JBOD offers a high density storage with hardware redundancy design and outstanding performance, up to 2,400MB/s per channel, and it’s also easy for deployment and can integrate intoWindows-based servers with ease. This JBOD solution is suitable not only for datacenters but also small and medium-sized businesses (SMB).

UNIFOSA’s SAS JBOD completed the verification process to ensure seamless compatibility with Windows Server 2012 R2 and assure users good performance and agility for deployment in Windows Server environment. The combination of LSI HA controller cards based on Windows Server can offer a cost-effective and easy-to-deploy high availability storage for supporting versatile applications. The clustering shared storage solution can help increase storage utilization and improve operational efficiency.

The certified 2U 24Bay SAS JBOD, EP-2246JD-S6S6 houses up to twenty-four 2.5’’ hot-swappable drives and supports 6Gb/s SAS or SATA HDDs or SSDs in a compact 2U chassis. It features a modular architecture for all key components which ease system maintenance and management. The EP-2246JD-S6S6 also offers GUI management to monitor enclosure environmental conditions remotely. It utilizes industry-standard SCSI enclosure services (SES) to monitor enclosure and disk conditions, such as temperature, voltage, fan speed and power supply status, etc. There are two models available as well, including 2U 12Bay EP-2126JD1-S6S6 and 3U 16Bay EP-3166JD1-S6S6.
