June 23, 2014 - PRLog -- The Costa Concordia ship wreck is among the worst cruise disaster of recent history. 32 people lost their lives and thousands suffer each day from this horrific event.  The Captain is on trial in Italy and some survivors still have not been compensated for their injuries. The book "SOS Spirit of Survival" is a story of the survival of one close knit family and puts a glaring spotlight on the safety of passengers on cruise ships. The Ananias family (Dean, Georgia, Valerie, Cindy and Debbie) are seasoned cruisers and know the ins and outs of cruising as they have cruised most of their lives. You will learn the hour by hour details of that harrowing night as they share their story with you. They are leading an international movement along with the International Cruise Victims Association calling for reform of the cruise ship industry. They are giving a voice to those that died that night while also acknowledging anyone that has had a tragedy or traumatic event that occurred at sea.  Follow their story from the very beginning and find out what you can learn to survive against all odds.
