VoloMP Announces DMARC Compatibility

LOS ANGELES - July 3, 2014 - PRLog -- VoloMP (http://www.volomp.com), the globally recognized leader in high-volume email deployment, has announced a significant update to its mailing platform.  The VoloMP software is now compatibile with DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance)  which is a technical specification created by a group of organizations that want to significantly reduce the potential for email-based abuse by solving a few key but, long-standing operational, deployment, and reporting issues related to email authentication protocols.

DMARC aims to systematize how email receivers perform email authentication using the well-known SPF (Sender Policy Framework) and DKIM (Domain Keys Identified Mail) mechanisms. This means that senders will experience consistent authentication results for their messages at AOL, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo! and any other email receiver implementing DMARC. The goal is to encourage senders to more broadly authenticate their outbound email which can make email a more stable form of communication for everyone.

While SPF and DKIM have been the standard and reliable email authentication protocols for decades, DMARC plugs some holes. DMARC is designed to fit into an organization's existing inbound email authentication process. It assists email receivers in determining if the purported message matches with what the receiver knows about the sender. If not, DMARC includes guidance on how to handle the "non-aligned" messages.

DMARC is designed to satisfy the following requirements:

   Minimize false positives.
   Provide robust authentication reporting.
   Assert sender policy at receivers.
   Reduce successful phishing delivery.
   Work at Internet scale.
   Minimize complexity.

and adds support for:

   Wildcarding or subdomain policies,
   Non-existent subdomains,
   Slow rollout (e.g. percent experiments)
   SPF
   Quarantining mail

VoloMP offers three licensing options based on how fast you want to send. The options are broken down into: 50K sent per hour, 250k sent per hour, and unlimited. If you are new to bulk mailing it is recommended that you start with the smallest tier first and work your way up from there.
