Gruveo brings its easy, anonymous video calls to Android

BRATISLAVA, Slovakia - July 15, 2014 - PRLog -- ASM Systems Ltd. today released an update to its Gruveo platform (www.gruveo.com) that brings easy, secure and anonymous video calls to Android. The new version also provides improved call quality thanks to switching to the WebRTC technology, and will get a companion iOS app in the coming weeks.

Gruveo 2.0 works in Chrome, Firefox and Opera on desktop and Android and allows any two parties to establish a video call just by agreeing on a code. The website features a modern, responsive HTML5 design geared for mobile devices and desktops alike.

The new version switches to the new WebRTC standard for real-time browser communication. WebRTC enables encrypted, peer-to-peer video and voice calling directly from the browser and offers excellent call quality.

The Gruveo iOS app to compliment the existing Android and desktop offering is expected to arrive in late summer 2014.
