July 16 concert at Green Valley Ranch re-scheduled

July 16, 2014 - PRLog -- The free concert featuring Pulse scheduled for tonight, July 16, 7-8:30 p.m. at the Green Valley Ranch Amphitheater has been cancelled due to weather. It will be rescheduled to Wednesday, Aug. 6, 7-8:30 p.m. at the same location (4890 Argonne Way, Denver  80249).

        The Oakwood Homes Summer Concert Series continues on three more Wednesday nights, July 23 and 30 and the Aug. 6reschedule. All shows run from 7-8:30 p.m.  Concerts are presented and sponsored by Oakwood Homes to add to the amenities of the surrounding community.          Plenty of free parking is available next to the amphitheater and in the Oakwood Homes parking lot located at 4908 Tower Rd., Denver.

         Guests may bring a picnic dinner and soft drinks in cans or plastic bottles. Pets and barbecue grills are not permitted at the amphitheater on concert days. No alcoholic beverages are permitted in the amphitheater in accordance with Denver City Park ordinances.

July 23         WALKER WILLIAMS BAND—Top 40 Country, Dance Music

         Walker Williams was voted one of the top male vocalists in Colorado several years in a row. Williams and his band cater to dance-loving audiences, and they never disappoint with their catchy mixture of originals, Top-40 Country Covers, country-rock favorites and the occasional surprise tune from a variety of music styles. Williams is a regular at the Grizzly Rose where audiences can’t seem to get enough of his smooth vocals and the band’s refined style.

July 30         PHAT DADDY BAND—Funk, Motown and R & B Favorites

         Phat Daddy is one of the most popular cover bands in the Front Range. They retain their on-going popularity by playing a mix of R & B dance, funk, and Motown, keeping their energy high and their vocals engaging. More information and audio clips:

August 6      PULSE—Top 40 Variety Band
