Vintage Consulting Inc hosts successful 'Day of Smiles' Beer Pong Tournament

SAN FRANCISCO - Aug. 18, 2014 - PRLog -- There were 9 teams that took part in the Day of Smiles Beer Pong Tournament, which raised nearly $500 for Operation Smile.

The team at Vintage Consulting Inc put on the Tournament as an effort to meet their pledge they had given to Operation Smile earlier in the year.  The Day of Smiles event was held in South San Francisco on August 9th.  The Day of Smiles was recognized by many within Vintage Consulting Inc's organization across the country. Some 300 offices had the opportunity to be involved in an attempt to raise over $100,000 total to support a mission for Operation Smile.

"No only did I improve my skills in the tournament but I had the opportunity to build great relationships with my co-workers in an outgoing environment” said Lindsey Meeker, who handles human resources at Vintage Consulting and was also a participant in the tournament. “Everyone seemed to be having a great time, it was a very competitive and engaging tournament.”

The double elimination tournament came down to the undefeated team versus the play in team going head to head twice in a row, in which the original undefeated team took home to trophy.  Not only did they go home with a trophy, but also $90 & two gift baskets provided by Molloy's Tavern.

The money raised at the tournament will benefit Operation Smile, an organization made up of compassionate people dedicated to healing cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities in third world countries.

Vintage Consulting Inc's organization raised over $100,000 in one weekend of 2013 which aided a second mission trip to Brazil.  This year they are attempting to exceed previous accomplishments and are sure they will get there.
