Local Texas resident awarded by Kandi Burruss for Bedroom Kandi

HOUSTON - Aug. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Bedroom Kandi Boutique Parties has announced their award winners for 2014. All honorees were presented their awards at the Bedroom Kandi Convention in Atlanta, GA, August 18, 2014.

Local Bedroom Kandi consultant Michele Thompkins was in attendance and was awarded for Top Sales for June 2014 nationwide, 8^th Place in sales nationwide and the winner of the Boss award for best party introduction video. Michele was greeted by the corporate staff and Kandi Burruss in recognition for her achievements.

Michele’s Boss video entry was filmed in Pearland, TX at a local Wealthy Women’s Network event. Michele promoted the Bedroom Kandi Boutique Parties’ business opportunity as well as self empowerment. Top sales were awarded for Michele’s direct sales across the Houston area, selling over $3,000 in retail sales in one calendar month.

In addition to Michele’s awards, she was also selected as a member of the Consultant Advisory Council (C.A.C.) for Bedroom Kandi Boutique Parties.  The role of C.A.C. board members will be tasked to help set up policy, give guidance, as well as offer their expertise where needed.

Michele Thompkins is devoted mother and woman of many hats  with +17 years of experience in the sales, communication, public relations and marketing. As CEO of Protégé PR, Michele works with clients to capture attention, sell their ideas and create internet buzz. Michele works with both organizations and individuals. She enjoys her work as an Independent Bedroom Kandi Boutique Consultant, where she blends high-energy, humor and cut to the chase style of motivation and encouragement.  Michele is also the producer and co-host of The Gossiping Heifers podcast covering celebrity news. The Gossiping Heifers show aired on Houston's own KCOH radio station and on Houston's local television stations KTBU and UTN in 2011.

In addition to running two home based businesses and a talk show, she is also an active member of the Wealthy Sisters Network and an advocate for Autism. Michele's passion for autism awareness having lived and learned through the ups and downs of her son having Asperger syndrome, high a functioning form of autism.

Michele is passionate about supporting women who want to contribute their talents toward a calling that fully inspires them.  She is also committed to building a community and culture where women’s leadership thrives at unprecedented levels.

Michele lives with her family in Sugar Land, TX. In her spare time, she enjoys film production, graphic design, event planning, music, movies, travel, cooking, hanging out with friends and family, volunteering at her son’s school.
