Students at Flinn Middle School in Rockford Await Visit by RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon and Crew Sept. 10

CHICAGO - Aug. 21, 2014 - PRLog -- The RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon visits BernardW.FlinnMiddle School, 2525 Ohio Pkwy., Rockford, Ill., on Sept. 10 when the balloon crew will present an interactive educational program developed and sponsored by the RE/MAX real estate network in northern Illinois.

To accommodate all of the more than 1,000 students at FlinnSchool, the program will be presented three times in the school gymnasium beginning at 9 a.m.  The students will learn about various aspects of ballooning, including its history and the scientific principles involved.  They also will see a demonstration on how the balloon functions.  The 75-foot-tall balloon envelope will be partially inflated with cold air so that students can walk inside it as part of the educational experience.

Also on hand to enhance the occasion will be the RE/MAX Soaring Home Balloon, a special-shape inflatable complete with house, children and pets that has become a crowd favorite since being introduced a few years ago.
