CAO Group Files LED Forensic Light Source Patent Infringement Lawsuit Against Sirchie

SALT LAKE CITY - Sept. 10, 2014 - PRLog -- SALT LAKE CITY (September 10, 2014) — CAO Group, Inc. (http://www.caogroup.com/) (CAO), a world leading, high-technology forensic detection company, filed a patent infringement complaint against Sirchie Finger Print Laboratories (Sirchie) to protect its patented forensic LED light detection technology.

CAO’s patent infringement complaint against Sirchie, was filed on Thursday, September 4, 2014 in The Utah District Court. The lawsuit asserts that LED light systems sold by Sirchie infringe three of CAO’s patents. The patents asserted by CAO are: U.S. Patent No. 6,954,270 (http://www.google.com/patents/US6954270) “Method for detecting forensic evidence.”; U.S. Patent No. 7,252,678 (http://www.google.com/patents/US7252678) “Forensic light using semiconductor light source.”; and U.S. Patent No. 7,267,457 (http://www.google.com/patents/US7267457) “Method for detecting forensic evidence.”
