PRLog -- Kieselstein-
Cord launched a new website today for his photography in conjunction with and in anticipation of his new book,
Awarded Redoux (Hudson House Publishing, due out in spring 2015). The site features many of Kieselstein-
Cord's photographs from over the last few decades, including several from the "Plastic Dreams" series. The "Plastic Dreams" series was featured in his first book, and is a continuation series. Nancy-Hall Duncan, formerly of the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, Connecticut, wrote the introduction to Kieselstein-
Cord's first photography book,
Awarded. Her introduction is posted on the website to help familiarize those who are new to Mr. Cord's extensive art works and career.
Kieselstein-
Cord's work spans from his commercial photographs for his luxury design company to the avant-garde underbelly of New York City. His photos are part time capsule, part political statement, part personal reflection, and are intended to evoke emotion. He uses the power of the image to seduce, bewitch, and question the world as we know it.
