Amicus Medical Centers Celebrates 101st Birthday of Mr. Israel Sweig

TAMARAC, Fla. - Oct. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Amicus Medical Center of Tamarac invites the public to celebrate a major milestone: the 101st birthday of Mr. Israel Sweig. The event is held on October 14, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Amicus Medical Center office of Dr. Charles I. Glaser at 7495 N. University Drive in Tamarac.

Although Mr. Sweig’s birthday was on October 8, he will celebrate with family and friends on October 14. Mr. Sweig is a World War II veteran who fought for his country from 1942 to 1945, serving in the Air Force as a radio operator. After being stationed in England, France and Italy, he returned to Quincy, Mass., where he owned an office supplies business.

While he may be celebrating more than a century on the Earth, Mr. Sweig still exercises at the Northwest Focal Point Senior Center where he performs strength and balancing activities.

The community is invited to this event, which will feature cake and refreshments in celebration of this special centenarian.
