Bangladesh Entrepreneur Champions Causes

DHAKA, Bangladesh - Oct. 20, 2014 - PRLog -- Md Sharif Arefin Badhan was born in the Himalayan plains of Bangladesh, and now makes his home in the capital city of Dhaka. Coming from an agricultural district that was positioned too far from critical infrastructure and moving to a tightly populated city gave him insight into the challenges of financial liberty and the importance of self-sufficiency in the competitive world market.

An advanced education and a dream that burned inside of him equipped him to develop an unstoppable persevering mindset, a dedication to overcoming challenges and a mission to lift others from distressed lives. Memories of hardship back home and his sights on breaking away from limitations caused him to apply himself to every endeavor to which he put his mind.

Some of his undertakings included obtaining an education at the government-funded Thakargaon Governmental Boys High School, where the school day is 10 hours long. He also went to Dhaka's Notre Dame College, a private university in Dhaka. He then proceeded to Ahsanullah University Science and Technology, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Production Engineering. As a post-graduate, he continued his pursuit of knowledge when he obtained credentials in PHP, HTML, Android Application Development, website development, JavaScript, Adobe Photoshop and Search Engine Optimization applications.

In addition, he won first place in a Technology Solutions programming competition, was declared champion in a National Television Debate Competition and placed first in a Favour Crysal National Art Competition.

Sharif Arefin Badhan is bilingual, showing fluency in English and Bengali. In July 2014 he founded his online and physical company, Smocx. Through this platform, he serves customers through his freelance graphic design and other ingenious services.

Having achieved his entrepreneurial goals and gained much sought-after independence, he decided not to go to sleep on the gains he'd achieved. He thus began to share his strategies with others; teaching them how to gain self-reliance and independence. His mission is to remove unemployment from the landscape of many people's lives and teach them how to overcome poverty and lack.

He continues to live in a walking dream state, putting his efforts towards being a dream maker. He takes action on the causes that concern him by bestowing his gained knowledge to youth and empowering them to become self-employed.
