“ATL…Giving from the Soul” is proud to announce its 1st Annual Benefit Concert

ATLANTA - Oct. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- The ATL Giving from the Soul”  concert is a Community Collaboration  in support of the ATL Giving From The Soul Toys for Kids, “Babies Can’t Wait” Early Intervention Program – DeKalb County, and “The Perkerson House – Transitional Housing Program” in Atlanta, Georgia, slated for 2014 Holiday Season.  Some of the industry’s local iconic R & B, soul and pop artists will be in the city to lend their support.

Names such as the undeniable crooner Glenn Jones with hits like ”Top 10 R&B "Show Me”, "We've Only Just Begun (The Romance Is Not Over)", "Here I Go Again" and "I've Been Searchin' (Nobody Like You)” ; Dave Tolliver (Men at Large Group) hits like “Use Me”, “Would You Like to Dance” and “So Alone”; Joe “Joey Beanz” Little (Rude Boys Group) with Billboard R & B Song of the Year “Written All Over Your Face”, also “U Will Know”, and “Miss You So Much”, and Candice Glover (American Idol Winner) – Season 12) hits like “I Am Beautiful”, “Music Speaks”, and “Coulda Been Me”.

Community Collaboration: These local artists, along with many other music industry colleagues will join force and engage in:

 1.Disbursement and presenting of toys, serve as Christmas Carolers, Photo Opts, and sign autographs with children, their family members, hospital Doctors and Staff; to benefit children in area hospitals throughout Atlanta e.g. (Scottish Rite Hospital, Northside Hospital, St. Jude Hospital, Emory, Gwinnett Hospital, DeKalb County Hospital and Grady Hospital Children’s Ward);

 2.Give a portion of monetary donation to the “Babies Can't Wait” Early Intervention Program - DeKalb County;

 3.Provide some necessary items e.g. toiletries, socks, undergarments, shoes, coats, and clothes for men & women to donate to The Perkerson House Transitional Housing Program, which is a temporary housing for individuals seeking to transition into independent or supportive housing. This is a co-ed program for men and women living with a mental illness and/or in recovery.
