Free To Flourish Achieves IRS Tax-Exempt 501(c)(3) Status

MULLICA HILL, N.J. - Oct. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Free To Flourish (F2F), an organization dedicated to eliminating human trafficking and modern day slavery and providing legal recourse to victims and survivors, is pleased to announce it has received 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status from the IRS. Now all donations to the organization will be tax-deductible.

“This is a major achievement for Free To Flourish that validates our approach and efforts to end human trafficking and slavery worldwide,” says Noelle Connor, Esquire, F2F chief executive officer and managing attorney. “Our goal in achieving tax-exempt status was to encourage both individuals and corporations to donate generously to support our important mission.” A significant fundraising campaign timed to the end-of-year holidays is planned.

All donations to the organization will support efforts to generate awareness and work to end human trafficking and slavery, as well as finance much needed pro bono legal services for victims of sex and labor trafficking. While the initial focus of the organization’s activities will be on New Jersey, F2F is already working to replicate its model through chapters in other U.S. states.

“Our work is uniquely important as it will allow survivors to reclaim their dignity by holding those who were involved in their victimization legally accountable, a crucial factor in reducing and diminishing both supply and demand,” added Connor. F2F is the only organization in the State of New Jersey that provides free legal services to victims and survivors.

Notably, F2F’s outreach and services will include passionate advocacy efforts, awareness initiatives, training of law enforcement, providing expertise in constitutional, federal, national and international laws, encouraging businesses to seek out and remove slavery from their product supply chains, and providing pro-bono legal services to victims and survivors of both sex and labor trafficking in a quest for justice and reclamation of dignity against all parties who are culpable in this crime against humanity.
