Xpelair joins the party at the SBC

ROYAL LEAMINGTON SPA, U.K. - Dec. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Plumb and Parts Center’s Sustainable Business Center (SBC) is housing a new resident. Leading ventilation manufacturer Xpelair has installed one of its Xcell 300QVI Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) units.

MVHRs continuously extract humid air from hot, wet parts of buildings such as kitchens and bathrooms, and, using an Xcell heat exchanger, tempers the incoming air for distribution, via heat transfer, to habitable rooms. With an efficiency of 91%, the 300QVI can significantly reduce heating bills as well as combat the effects of condensation.

The installation of the unit at the SBC will allow Plumb and Parts Center to demonstrate the benefits and effects of the product, as well as offering future training opportunities for installers looking to get involved with MVHRs.
