Follow on Google News | Xpelair joins the party at the SBCBy: Plumb Center MVHRs continuously extract humid air from hot, wet parts of buildings such as kitchens and bathrooms, and, using an Xcell heat exchanger, tempers the incoming air for distribution, via heat transfer, to habitable rooms. With an efficiency of 91%, the 300QVI can significantly reduce heating bills as well as combat the effects of condensation. The installation of the unit at the SBC will allow Plumb and Parts Center to demonstrate the benefits and effects of the product, as well as offering future training opportunities for installers looking to get involved with MVHRs. Plumb and Parts Center’s Head of Sustainability, Tim Pollard said; “We’re always looking for new opportunities to help installers get the renewables and energy efficiency training that they want, and installing Xcell 300QVI is the perfect opportunity for us to develop a MVHR training programme.” End
