EVSticker.com Announces Launch of New Electric Vehicle Sticker Website

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - Jan. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Do electric vehicle owners know they have it so good? EVSticker.com co-founder Stuart M. The EVSticker.com project was first launched with much fanfare on a very special day: September 4th, 2014, the day Tesla Motors officially announced in a live stream that it had selected Nevada as the location to build its first lithium-ion battery 'Gigafactory'. Shortly thereafter on September 10th, the EVSticker.com team participated in the fourth annual National Drive Electric Week (NDEW) event, a global observance featuring local events in which attendants can test-drive and discover numerous new Electric Vehicles, including electric bicycles, electric motorcycles, scooters, skateboards, personal transporters (à la Segway), buses, converted cars, and high-performance electric sports cars. NDEW broke records with local events organized in 130 cities in 35 states and abroad while more records were broken as EV sales reached their first quarter-million mark in the U.S.

In Huntington Beach, the local event was called “Plug In To Excitement” and was featured on ABC7 News. “It was like an EV-Utopia in Huntington” explains EVSticker co-founder Stuart “Everyone was having a great time exploring while the Brammo Motorcycles, UCI's Racecar Engineering’s all-electric racecar, and Urb-E scooters whizzed by effortlessly.” EV Fever was truly alive and well. The EVSticker.com team spent the day at the event displaying several of their new designs as passersby looked on with interest.

As highlighted at the event, the stickers from EVSticker feature a specialized-material combination that makes them resistant to rain, cold, and heat from the sun, while remaining easy to remove at any point. These removable stickers are fun, affordable, and utilize sharp, bright colors for electric vehicle owners to show their love for their electric vehicles. The designs involve a wide variety including: clever electricity and engineering puns, popular culture references, owner-submitted designs, jabs at the aging oil industry, and several sticker options for bikes and motorcycles. Many designs highlight the benefits of EVs, including environmental cleanliness and the significant cost savings of many available electric vehicles.

EVSticker.com has now launched their new website powered by Shopify, a mobile-friendly e-Commerce system. The new website highlights new designs and features a new layout for mobile phones.

EVSticker.com hopes that EV owners everywhere will enjoy the extra personalization and flair for their vehicle, and will proudly display an EVSticker on their vehicle of choice.
