Edimax launches Pro Series access points at CES 2015

LAS VEGAS - Jan. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Edimax Technology, a leading networking solutions provider, has announced its participation in the Taiwan international press conference at CES 2015 on January 6th, Room S228, South Hall Connector, Las Vegas Convention and World Trade Center. The press conference will feature the international launch of Edimax Pro series WAP1750 & CAP1200 access points and promote Edimax’s Computex 2015 lineup and Taiwan Excellence Award candidates.

Judges awarded the prize to the powerful, innovative access point which has been engineered to meet the networking needs of small and mid-sized business.

Ceiling mounted, certified flame-retardant and super high-speed with the latest IEEE 802.11ac technology, the CAP1200 was additionally granted the distinguished Taiwan Excellence Award earlier in 2014, and offers concurrent 2.4GHz & 5GHz dual-band coverage as well as a scalable AP array architecture for central management of multiple access points across one organization. A built-in RADIUS server provides an additional layer of security and up to 32 SSIDs can be configured for different departments or user groups, while the ceiling-mountable design is compact and robust with a UL94-5VB flame-retardant plastic housing.

The WAP1750 provides 802.11ac speeds up to 1300Mbps, concurrent 2.4GHz & 5GHz dual-band coverage and high density networking with support for up to 100 users, ideal for applications in hotels, hospitals, offices, universities and resorts. With a 27.5dBm detachable, directional antenna for extensive Wi-Fi coverage and the option to upgrade for even more power, along with multiple SSIDs, Power over Ethernet support and a built-in RADIUS server (with support for 256 accounts), the WAP1750 is robust enterprise-grade access point for easy and cost-effective business WLAN deployment.
