Strike Out Breast Cancer at Bowland Centers

NAPLES, Fla. - Jan. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- A sea of pink will overtake three southwest Florida bowling centers on Sunday February 8^th when the  7^th annual BOWL FOR THE CURE hits the lanes at 1pm. The fundraising event is open to the public and participation is encouraged. Sponsorship packages begin at $25, so this affordable fun for a great cause. The participating centers are:

“Bowl for the Cure may still be unknown to many outside of the bowling world in our area,” said Lisa Ciniello, Vice President of Bowling Management Associates, operators of the local Bowland centers. “But nationally, it has been around for 13 years now and raised almost $10 million for the Susan G. Komen and its affiliates. In 2014, Bowland Centers efforts netted $19,300 to the cause!”

The local events feature bowling, auctions (both live & silent) and various other fundraising efforts. The goal is to raise $20,000 to donate to the local affiliate of the Susan G. Komen organization. Ciniello said there is plenty of space available for bowlers and new sponsors for the event. “We always love to have new people help take up the fight with us. We want to strike out breast cancer in our lifetime!”
