40 Day Fast, Day 11 - The Journey Continues, A Progress Report

LOS ANGELES - Jan. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- A first person report from Author Larry E. "Buck" Hunter:  I believe the reason the l Lord called me to this fast was to get me back on track to the Ministry and job he called me too.

The Spirit of the LORD reminded me that this was a test of my discipline. I had to pass through this fast. That He had a big job for me. He gave me these Scriptures:

ROMANS 11:29,33

29: For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

33: Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

THE CALLING FROM THE LORD.  On a flight to Beijing, China, I prayed for the LORD to help me draw a line in the sand. Our company had gotten so successful that things were out of hand. I was never home. I had things. A home in Oregon and a home in Las Vegas, but I was never had time to enjoy them.

My thoughts for this “line in the sand” would be to take our company public and retiring with a billion or two and then be able to serve the LORD full time.

My Father in Heaven had a different plan. Through a series of very strange events, I find myself cutting a plea deal with the Federal Government.

The point is that during my stay with the Feds the Lord gave me His instructions.  “For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable”.  By humbling myself to this 40 day fast I have been redirected to the purpose and calling. KEEP THE GOAL AND CALLING IN MIND

PHILIPPIANS 3:12-16
Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.
