Acoustic singers Michael Trotter and Tanya Blount, announced that 50% of all digital album sales proceeds in 2015 will be donated to Operation Second Chance, a non-profit organization committed to serving wounded, injured and ill combat veterans including those with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Michael Trotter, a previous winner of the Baumholder Germany Military Idol, brings his experience as a wounded-war veteran to the lyrics and soulful sounds of this debut album with his wife Tanya Blount, who performed in Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit. “We are very excited about the production of this album,” states Trotter. “We want our music to touch a lot of hearts, especially those of veterans, their families and friends. Thousands of our war heroes suffer with PTSD, and we are proud that some of our proceeds will provide them with support and assistance through Operation Second Chance.” PTSD hits close to home with the band, as Trotter was recently diagnosed with it after serving two tours in Iraq.
